I rode to LA to have GT Moto (Guzzi Tech) replace the catalytic converter with their Y-Pipe, install a tuner kit, and get rid of the SAS system, which vastly improves performance for the V85TT.  Getting rid of the catalytic converter alone saves a much of weight, but also eliminates a huge source of heat from right below your feet.  The bike runs much better now, and I'm super happy with the modifications!

I decided to ride back to Havasu via the Angeles Crest Highway, which made for a nice curvy ride through the mountains.
